Mrs. Evelyn McDaniel Nusko

July 11, 1926 - May 26, 2022

Mrs. Evelyn McDaniel Nusko went home to be with the Lord on May 26,2022. She was born July 11,1926, in Donaldson, Arkansas. She graduated from Malvern High School. Evelyn married Bob C. Nusko, Sr. on December 31,1946. She earned her Master’s Degree in Bible Languages while attending the Missionary Baptist Seminary, in Little Rock, Arkansas, with her husband. Bob and Evelyn worked together ministering to many churches in Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, and Mississippi. She enjoyed working in Vacation Bible Schools, teaching in Sunday School, and leading the church’s Ladies' Auxiliaries. She served many years as National Tract Distributor for the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the American Baptist Association. In 1975, she established Advertising Specialties and operated that business for 44 years. Evelyn is preceded in death by husband, Bob C. Nusko, Sr., her parents, Frank and Verda McDaniel, her brothers, Vollie, Doyal, and Earl McDaniel. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Rachel (Dale) Clark, and son, Bob C. (Denise) Nusko Jr., granddaughter, Lacey McKnight, and three great grandchildren, Cooper, Zoey, and Jake. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31,2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, Mississippi 39563. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Twiner officiating. Entombment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Midway Missionary Baptist Church, 1236 Midway Road, Donaldson, Arkansas 71941.
