Mrs. Louise Virginia Harris, 94, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at her home in Moss Point. She was born January 23, 1928, in Cardwell, Missouri, to James E. Torrence and Lula Mae Thompson Torrence. Louise was a loving mother and grandmother, a tremendous cook, and a wonderful seamstress. She also enjoyed helping her husband, Charles work the shrimp nets. Louise was a member of Manna Landmark Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles L. Harris, 2 sons, Charles Harris., Jr., and Johnnie Harris, 3 sisters, Dorothy Moore, Charlette Branch, and Minnie Lee Fisher, 2 brothers, Elmer Torrence, and Charlie Torrence. Survivors include her daughters, Patty (Doug) Crane, and Linda (Dwight) Holloway. 4 grandchildren, Erin Crane, Brance (Ashley) Crane, Aryan Khanna, and Katrina Khanna. One great-grandson, Lennox Crane. And numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank two very special caregivers, Sherri Hinton, and Amanda White, for the wonderful care and attention given to Mrs. Harris. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS., 39563, the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Williams and Bro. Dwayne C. Doyle officiating. Burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery, Pascagoula, MS. Serving as pallbearers are, Doug Crane, Brance Crane, Dwight Holloway, Aryan Khanna, Dennis Fisher, and William "Shorty" Green. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Lennox Crane.
