    William Crenshaw

    May 10, 1957 - January 19, 2021

Mr. William S. Crenshaw, 63 of Moss Point, MS., passed from this life on Tuesday, January 19. 2021, in Pascagoula, MS. He was born on May 10, 1957, in Benham, Kentucky to James and Patricia White Crenshaw. His family was his hobby. He devoted his time to learning about them and loving them. His family was more than Sue, Tisa, Bill, his grandkids and great-grandkids, and his brothers and sisters. His family was who knew him, and he took care of, learned about, and loved all of them. He was a selfless and devoted husband, father, and leader. When he spoke, he was blunt and passionate because he cared too much to let you be wrong if he thought there was a better way. Mr. Crenshaw loved his family and honored his country. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He enjoyed reading the old western books by Lois L’Amour and he was a history buff. At his core, he was an engineer. He always wanted to repair things and very rarely found something that he could not fix. That was true of things as well as people. He didn’t have a lot of hobbies. He was a jack of all trades always striving to master them. He was preceded in death by his parents, James, and Patricia Crenshaw. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sue Crenshaw, two children, Tisa (John) Perry, and William S. (Courtney) Crenshaw, II. Grandchildren, Preston (Leilani) Barnette, Savannah Linville (Colby Martin), Michaela Crenshaw, Katelyn Perry, and William S. Crenshaw, III. Great-grandchildren, Makenna Arnott, Brayson Martin, Oliver Barnette, Saylor Barnette, and Leila Barnette. Brothers and sisters, Kevin Crenshaw, Katie Capps, Mark Crenshaw, Patti Scoggins, and John Scoggins. Numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS., 39563 Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, masks and social distancing are required In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN., 38105
